OVERVIEW
The CivDivCIC Veteran Membership & Heritage Engagement Programme is a structured initiative designed to strengthen connection, recognition, and participation among veterans.
Delivered in partnership with the West Indian Association of Service Personnel (WASP), the programme brings together membership engagement and heritage-focused events to support community connection and veteran identity.
This is not a commercial or ticket-based service. It is a community engagement and heritage recognition programme that supports inclusion, connection, and participate
PROGRAMME PURPOSE
This programme exists to:

Strengthen veteran connection and engagement

Recognise and preserve Caribbean and Commonwealth service heritage

Support community participation and inclusion

Create structured opportunities for veterans to come together

Link veterans into wider community and support networks
It forms part of Civdivcic wider role as a Veteran Engagement Hub, supporting connection within the broader support system
Veterans are male, female they young and old

HM Armed Forces Veteran Card
This is the official state-recognised proof of veteran status.
It is issued by the MOD and supported by the Office for Veterans’ Affairs.
